Quantum Computing Advisor
ApplyReady to turn quantum computing into real-world impact? In this role, you will work hands-on with researchers to design and build quantum applications, integrate them into existing systems, and help bring this emerging technology into practice. Your work will shape how quantum computing is used in research.
Where you will work
SURF is the collaborative IT organisation for Dutch education and research. Working together with academic and research institutions, SURF develops and delivers IT infrastructure and drives digital innovation. SURF is a pioneer in classical network technology and a leading provider of network and High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure for the Dutch research and education community.
One of our focus areas is the application of quantum technology for scientific research and education, ensuring that users of SURF's infrastructure continue to have access to world-class facilities and expertise. In this way, we support the Netherlands in maintaining its position at the forefront of global research and education.
The team you will join
You'll work within SURF's Future Technologies & Applications team — a group that explores and experiments with cutting-edge technologies and assesses their impact for education and research. We drive strategic initiatives across the ecosystem, and we give our people the freedom to do the same. Furthermore, we are an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and open team that encourages you to engage with projects where you can make the greatest impact, as well as those that spark your curiosity. SURF fosters a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing
